Pro Tour Series: the Black Axe

Charl Arangies #13, Noble M400, GT Challenge, GTC1

The only pair that COULD take down the Grand Wizard, Toby Venter #9, are Charl Arangies and Vernon Bricknell #7 in his Porsche 911 996 GT3 RSR. Sadly their chances were cut in half as Vernon Bricknell had an accident on Friday afternoon, leaving the Herculean task to the Noble. I'm well aware of the fact that Toby Venter races in the Unlimited class and Charl in GTC1, but I still believe the Black Axe can take down the Grand Wizard with one quick swing.

Happiness is... a new race helmet (photo at the bottom of the next page).

When I asked C3 frontman Willem vd Westhuizen which racetrack does he favour the most, he answered: 'All of them.' Well there you have it. Life has its winding roads, but as long as we look beyond the obvious, it will be great fun—always!

Gracing the Pro Tour Series with their presence at the Kylamai Race circuit, were the V8 Masters. These Ford V8 racing cars made their debut in 2008. With 325kW under the hood, these V8 race cars are a feast to watch. It looks like a Ford Mustang, but is it a Mustang, you be the judge.
